Timescaping is a 120-minute session where your team steps 100 years into the future. At that distance, the present looks different in ways that matter.
Strategy sessions, planning days, quarterly reviews. The same assumptions, the same reference points, the same people thinking in the same ways.
Most teams don't lack information about the future. They lack a shared way of thinking about it together.
At that distance, the present looks different in ways that matter.
Not to predict anything. The further you go, the less anyone knows.
Far enough that nobody has the right answer.
Far enough that expertise stops being a shield.
Far enough that the stories we tell ourselves about what is inevitable start to loosen. That's when people stop performing and start imagining. That's when perspectives emerge that wouldn't normally get space.
Guided by an experienced facilitator, participants move through a series of structured moments that open up imagination about possible futures, rooted in their own expertise, worldviews, and what emerges between the people in the room. Timescape cards introduce the initial themes and gradually open the conversation outward. Sessions often end with participants creating their own cards, a starting point for the work that follows. The day after, people often show up to meetings with different questions.
SOME OF THE THEMES EXPLORED:And others crafted specifically around your sector.
Cristian Boscheri started as an engineer because he believed the world could be built differently. He studied Sustainable Energy Technology at TU Eindhoven, then spent nearly a decade co-founding and running a nonprofit, building communities and creating spaces where people could connect, think, and imagine in ways they hadn't before.
In parallel, he spent twenty years as a performer, learning how to hold a room, read an audience, and take people somewhere unexpected.
Timescaping is where all of that converges. A practice designed to help groups imagine possible futures together, and the belief that the way we imagine tomorrow shapes how we act today.
